Abstract:
This monitoring system is provided with: an image analysis/storage device (10) which stores and analyzes image data captured by cameras (11), and if an abnormality is detected, generates an alarm signal including the time of the occurrence of the abnormality; a communication device (30) which, upon receiving the alarm signal, receives, from the image analysis/storage device (10) and as recorded image data, image data that are included in the image data stored in the image analysis/storage device (10), and that were captured during set time periods immediately preceding and following the time of the occurrence of the abnormality; and a server (40) which receives the alarm signal and the recorded image data from the communication device (30), transmits abnormality detection notification mail to a mobile terminal (50) on the basis of the received alarm signal, and stores the received recorded image data, wherein the mobile terminal (50) communicates with the server (40) in response to the abnormality detection notification mail received from the server (40), and receives the recorded image data from the server (40). In this way, an image captured when an abnormality occurred can be accurately checked from a remote location by using a small amount of data communications and a small data storage capacity.
