Abstract:
In order to provide a monitoring system capable of enhancing the continuity of traveling of a vehicle while suppressing the increase of scale of a circuit for monitoring an electricity storage unit, the monitoring system (100) is provided with: a first monitoring unit (20) for acquiring, from a first output terminal, a voltage detected by a voltage detection unit (10) and circuit failure information; a second monitoring unit (30) for acquiring a voltage abnormality signal detected by the voltage detection unit (10) from a second output terminal; and a traveling control unit (70) for breaking the electrical connection between an electricity storage unit (6) and a traveling motor (8). When one of a circuit on the first output terminal side and a circuit on the second output terminal side has a circuit failure and the other has no circuit failure and when the electricity storage unit (6) is normal, the traveling control unit (70) allows the electricity storage unit (6) and the traveling motor (8) to be in the connection state.
