Abstract:
Provided is a monopole tower having a tower support structure in which the external dimension of a tower shell is the maximum diameter because a base plate protruding farther outward than the tower shell is eliminated. On the lower end side of the tower (2) in a monopole tower standing on a base (B), a tower side coupling member is provided in a range smaller than the outside diameter of a tower shell (21), and in a space equipped with a base side coupling member provided on the base (B), the base side coupling member and the tower side coupling member are coupled by welding or by means of bolts utilizing a splice plate or rivets.
