Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mop press (200) for expressing liquid from a mop head (290), which mop press comprises first pressing means (222), second pressing means (280) and distortion means (230), wherein in use the first and second pressing (222, 280) means are brought together and the distortion means (230) distorts around the mop head (290), the arrangement being such that the thickness of the distortion means (230) permits pressure to be applied uniformly over the surface of the mop head and a substantial proportion of the liquid contained within the mop head (290) to be expressed irrespective of the type and size of the mop head and without needing to adjust the relative spacing between the pressing means (222, 280).
