Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a mortar peeling method capable of keeping sound generated during peeling work to an acceptable level, and that is capable of smoothly peeling mortar from concrete framework. [Solution] This mortar peeling method performs a mortar peeling step in which a piston rod (42) of a hydraulic jack (13) in a mortar peeling device (10A) is gradually extended in a single direction forward, whereby a cutter (14) is gradually advanced in the single direction forward and a predetermined thickness of mortar (21) is peeled away from a concrete framework (20) using the cutter (14). In this mortar peeling method, the piston rod (42) of the hydraulic jack (13) is extended in the single direction forward to peel away mortar (21), after which the piston rod (42) is retracted in the single direction rearward to thereby complete a single cycle of the mortar peeling step.
