Abstract:
A motion assist device is provided which, while reducing time delay, is capable of suitable control in accordance with motions of a user. This motion assist device is provided with a wearable harness which is worn by a user and which has a joint that links a first member and a second member so as to allow relative rotation, an actuator which creates relative rotation between the first member and the second member, a signal detection unit which detects a biological signal of the user, and a control unit which performs drive control of the actuator on the basis of the detected biological signal, wherein the signal detection unit is provided on the wearable harness.
