Abstract:
A motion assistance apparatus having a color conversion function using electronic ink, according to an embodiment, may comprise: a waist frame and a waist belt, which are wearable on the waist of a user; a force transmission frame and a thigh belt, which are wearable on a thigh of the user; an actuator which is connected to the waist belt and generates driving power; a driving frame which is connected to the actuator and transfers the driving force to the force transmission frame; an input unit capable of detecting at least one piece of information from among motion information, body information, or clothing information of the user; a color indicator comprising a first electrode layer arranged on the driving frame, an electronic ink layer arranged on the first electrode layer, and a second electrode layer arranged on the electronic ink layer; a color determiner which determines a target color of the color indicator on the basis of the information detected by the input unit; and a color controller which receives the target color information from the color determiner, and converts a color of the electronic ink layer by controlling a voltage applied to the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer.
