A motion guide device configured in such a manner that the motion guide device is compact and that an intermediate plate and a lid member can be positioned relative to a movement member body. Forming sections (20) which form the inner peripheries of a direction change path are provided to leg sections (4b) of an intermediate plate (4), and recesses (36) for the direction change path are provided to leg sections (5b) of a lid member (5), the recesses (36) being fitted in the forming sections (20) of the intermediate plate (4) with the lower surfaces (20c) of the forming sections (20) exposed. The lid member (5) is positioned in the left-right direction relative to the intermediate plate (4) by means of the forming sections (20) and the recess (36). The intermediate plate (4) is provided with a vertically positioning protrusion (26) protruding toward the lid member (5). A lid member's vertically positioning recess (34) which is fitted to a vertically positioning protrusion (26) of the intermediate plate (4) is provided to the lid member (5). The lid member (5) is vertically positioned relative to the intermediate plate (4) by the vertically positioning protrusion (26) and the lid member's vertically positioning recess (34).
