Abstract:
A motion-guiding device in which smooth circulation of rolling elements (5) inside an endless circulation track is made possible by preventing interference by belt members (61) on guiding grooves (46) to smooth the circulation of the belt members (61) in direction-changing tracks (45). The motion-guiding device is provided with: rolling elements (5); a track rail (1) on which the rolling elements (5) roll; a moving block (2) equipped with an endless circulation track for the rolling elements (5); and a connector (6) housed inside the endless circulation track. The endless circulation track comprises a loaded rolling element passage (31), a rolling element return passage (32), and direction-changing tracks (45). Connector (6) guiding grooves (46), which are formed in the direction-changing tracks (45), have an outer guiding surface (44) and an inner guiding surface (87), and the outer guiding surface (44) and inner guiding surface (87) are each smoothly continuous. The groove width thereof is maximal midway on the path from the end that connects with the loaded rolling element passage (31) or the rolling element return passage (32) to the central section of the direction-changing track (45), and the groove width of the connecting end and the groove width of the central section are set to be smaller than the maximum groove width midway on said path.
