Abstract:
The present invention provides a motion guiding device that can be produced at low cost by forming a raceway member and moving member and a rolling element rolling groove and loaded rolling element rolling groove from separate members, and makes it possible to easily adjust, to an appropriate amount, the gap between the rolling element rolling groove and the loaded rolling element rolling groove when installing the rolling element rolling groove or loaded rolling element rolling groove in the raceway member or moving member. Provided is a motion guiding device that comprises a raceway member, which is provided with a base portion that extends along a length direction and a pair of wall portions that stand upright from both ends of the base portion in the width direction and have a rolling element rolling groove formed therein along the length direction, and a moving member, which is mounted so as to be capable of moving between the wall portions along the length direction and to which a pair of guide members, in which a loaded rolling element rolling groove corresponding to the rolling element rolling groove is formed, is mounted, wherein at least one of the guide members is provided with a biasing member on the opposite surface from the surface on which the loaded rolling element rolling groove is provided.
