Provided are a motion-sensing operation method and device for a mobile terminal. A colour camera, an infrared camera and an infrared emitter are arranged on the mobile terminal. The method comprises: acquiring information about a colour video stream collected by the colour camera and information about a depth data stream collected by the infrared camera (201); according to the information about the colour video stream and the information about the depth data stream, determining a currently input motion-sensing operation (202); and according to a correlation between the motion-sensing operation and a pre-set operation action, determining and executing an operation action corresponding to the currently input motion-sensing operation (203). In the method and device, by integrating a colour camera, an infrared emitter and an infrared camera on a mobile terminal, and according to information about a colour video stream collected by the colour camera and information about a depth data stream collected by the infrared camera, the currently input motion-sensing operation is determined, so as to execute a corresponding operation action. A stereo operation can be performed on the mobile terminal anytime and anywhere without a hand-held sensing item, being convenient to operate and thus greatly improving the user experience.
