Abstract:
In a motion state evaluation system 10, a feature estimation unit 142 estimates a plurality of joint positions of a subject as a plurality of physical feature points. A motion analysis unit 144 obtains a value representing the motion state of the subject on the basis of the ratio of the distance between prescribed joints estimated on an image, to a reference length. A reference storage unit 132 stores the body height of the subject as the reference length. The motion analysis unit 144 obtains, as a value for use in evaluation of the motion of the subject, a value representing the motion state of the subject from the feature point distance between the plurality of physical feature points on the image on the basis of the ratio, to the body height of the subject, of the distance which is determined from the plurality of physical feature points on the image and which corresponds to the body height. An evaluation processing unit 146 evaluates the motion of the subject on the basis of the value representing the motion state.
