The present invention relates to a motion system for performing a multi-degree-of-freedom operation on a plane. More specifically, the present invention relates to a motion system which has a compact and stable structure, and can output strong motion on a plane such that precise and dynamic motion can be achieved even under high load. To this end, provided according to an aspect of the present invention is a motion system which moves along orthogonal X-Y axes on a plane, the motion system comprising: an upper-plate frame moving in the X-axis and Y-axis directions; a first movement part for moving the upper-plate frame in the X-axis direction; and a second movement part for moving the first movement part in the Y-axis direction.
