Abstract:
A clutch (52) of a crank-type motive power transmission device for a vehicle is provided with: a clutch input member (53) which rotates integrally with an input gear (26); a clutch output member (54) which rotates integrally with a transmission input shaft (11A); and a clutch operation member (55) which causes the clutch output member (54) to engage with the clutch input member (53), and transmits, to the transmission input shaft (11A), the driving force of a driving-source output shaft (11B). The input gear (26) is supported on a transmission case (56) via a bearing (57). The input gear (26), an output gear (27), and an idle gear (28) comprise helical gears. The meshing reaction force which the input gear (26) receives from the idle gear (28) in an axial direction is in the opposite direction to an engagement load which the input gear (26) receives from the clutch operation member (55) in the axial direction. As a result, the engagement load of the clutch (52) exerted on the bearing (57) is counteracted by the meshing reaction force which the input gear (26) receives from the idle gear (28) in the axial direction, and thus durability of the bearing (57) can be improved.
