Abstract:
Disclosed is a motive power transmission device (11) comprising an input shaft (2); a clutch (13); an output shaft (3); a gear shift mechanism (4); a rotary electric motor (14); a rotary electrical machine shaft (5); and a deceleration means (6) capable of increasing the torque that is outputted from the rotary electric motor (14). The deceleration means (6) comprises a transmission shaft (61); a transmission gear (62); an input shaft transmission gear (63) that meshes at all times with one of the gears (21-25) that rotate in unison with the input shaft (2) and that is capable of freely rotating about the transmission shaft (61); an output shaft transmission gear (64) that meshes at all times with a gear (26) that meshes with a gear (36a) that rotates in unison with the output shaft (3) and is capable of freely rotating about the input shaft (2), the output shaft transmission gear (64) being capable of freely rotating about the transmission shaft (61); and a motive power switching device (65) that rotates in unison with the transmission shaft (61), and is capable of switching between states wherein the motive power switching device (65) engages either the input shaft transmission gear (63), or the output shaft transmission gear (64), so as to be capable of rotating in unison therewith, or wherein the motive power switching device (65) engages with neither gear.
