Abstract:
A motor assembly (1A) according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: a motor (2) that includes an output shaft (21); a hydraulic brake (3) mounted to the motor; and a hydraulic fluid supply device 4 mounted to the hydraulic brake (3). The state of the hydraulic brake (3) is switched from one of a braked state and an unbraked state to the other state when pressurized hydraulic fluid is supplied. The hydraulic fluid supply device (4) includes: a pump that suctions hydraulic fluid from a storage chamber in which the hydraulic fluid is stored and that pressurizes the hydraulic fluid; and an electric motor that drives the pump.
