Abstract:
A motor control apparatus (10) is provided with a full-bridge type MERS (100), a line path (150), a control circuit (200), and a plurality of connection switches (SWMi), and is connected between an AC power supply (VS) and a plurality of motors (Mi). Each of the connection switches (SWMi) is connected to a motor (Mi), the full-bridge type MERS (100), and the line path (150). The control circuit (200) makes the motors (Mi) soft-start one by one, and makes the motors (Mi) proceed to rated operation, by switching four reverse-conducting type semiconductor switches (SW1-SW4) that comprise the full-bridge type MERS (100), and the connection switches (SWMi).
