Abstract:
This motor control device controls an AC synchronous motor through sensorless control that does not use a rotor position sensor. The motor control device includes a first position estimator that estimates the position of a rotor of the AC synchronous motor in a fixed coordinate system according to a first estimation method, a second position estimator that estimates the position of the rotor of the AC synchronous motor in the fixed coordinate system according to a second estimation method that is different from the first estimation method, and a drive control means that drives the AC synchronous motor on the basis of the results of estimation by the first position estimator and the second position estimator.
