Abstract:

This motor control device is for controlling a motor (5) equipped with multiple winding groups (15, 16), and is configured such that when a short-circuit failure is detected by a failure detection means (33), control of a normal-side inverter, with the exclusion of the faulty-side, is continued by means of means (31, 32) for controlling current in normal state, and control of the faulty-side inverter is also continued according to a faulty-state voltage command that is generated by a means for controlling current in a faulty state that comprises a generator (34) for generating a normal-side command in faulty state and a generator (42) for generating a faulty-side command in faulty state. With this configuration, in the event of a winding failure of the motor (5) or an inverter failure, torque pulsation of the motor (5) is accentuated so that a user can recognize the failure without fail.
