Abstract:
Provided are a motor control device, an electric power steering device, and a vehicle, with which an electric motor can be reliably driven and controlled even when a malfunction occurs in a motor electrical angle detection unit that detects the electrical angle of the motor. When a fault is diagnosed in a resolver (23a) and/or an angle calculation unit (60) in an initial diagnosis after a system restart, a motor electrical angle initial value (θms) is estimated on the basis of a response output of a three-phase electric motor (22) in accordance with the input of a motor driving signal to the three-phase electric motor (22), a motor electrical angle estimated value (θme) is calculated on the basis of an output shaft rotation angle (θos) detected by an output-side rotational angle sensor (13c) and a relative offset amount (θoff) estimated on the basis of the estimated motor electrical angle initial value (θms), and the three-phase electric motor is driven and controlled on the basis of the calculated motor electrical angle estimated value (θme).
