Abstract:
A weak field controller (40) determines a d-axis current command correction value (Id_fw*) in weak field control in accordance with a voltage (Vdc) of a direct-current power source (60) and a voltage amplitude (Vamp) of a voltage command. A d-axis current final value calculator (22) outputs a d-axis current final value (Id**) calculated using a d-axis current command value (Id*) and the d-axis current command correction value (Id_fw*. The weak field controller (40) includes a voltage amplitude command limiter (42) which limits a voltage amplitude command (Vamp*) determined on the basis of the power source voltage (Vdc). The voltage amplitude command limiter (42) limits the voltage amplitude command (Vamp*) to a voltage amplitude command limit value (Vamp*_lim) when a motor state quantity, correlating with a rate of change over time when a sinusoidal wave center voltage of the voltage command crosses from negative to positive, is at least equal to a prescribed limit start value.
