Abstract:
The motor control device 2 is equipped with: a position sensor 21 for detecting the position of a motor 12; an AD converter 30 for converting an analog signal representing a detection value of a motor current into a digital signal; and a control circuit 25 for driving an inverter 11 using an output signal of the AD converter 30. The control circuit 25 activates the AD converter 30 during an authorization period, and performs processing of the AD converter 30 during an electrical half-cycle including the authorization period. The length of a prohibition period, which is obtained by subtracting the authorization period from the electrical half-cycle, decreases with increase of the rotation speed of the motor 12.
