Provided is a motor control device that performs a phase correction upon detecting a position error between a detected position, which is calculated from a motor rotational position sensor signal, and a motor-induced voltage position. This motor control device (400) is equipped with an inverter unit (motor drive unit) (100) and a motor unit (300). The inverter unit (100) is equipped with a current control section (120) that outputs a voltage command upon detecting a drive current of a motor (310), a three-phase voltage conversion section (130) that outputs a drive signal on the basis of the output voltage command, an inverter circuit (140) that supplies the drive signal to the motor, and a phase correction section (170) that corrects a phase detected by a rotational position sensor (320). The phase correction section is equipped with a phase switching part that performs switching between a phase for normal control and a phase for phase adjustment as well as a phase error calculation part that calculates a phase error equivalent to a mounting position error of the rotational position sensor. The phase correction section corrects the mounting position error by adding/subtracting the phase error to/from the phase for normal control during the phase correction operation.
