A motor control device for performing energization control on three-phase coils of a brushless motor and performing rotation control of a rotor, the motor control device being provided with: a plurality of switching elements disposed so as to be capable of switching a current to be channeled to the coils; a plurality of sensors for detecting the rotation position of the rotor; and a control unit for outputting, on the basis of a position detection signal obtained by correcting a position detection signal outputted by the plurality of sensors using a prescribed correction factor, a drive signal for controlling the energization pattern of each of the switching elements. The control unit adds, to the setting value of the advance angle for the energization control, a correction angle corresponding to the difference between pre-correction and post-correction position detection signals from a prescribed sensor from among the plurality of sensors, and selects, in accordance with the energization angle for the energization control and the advance angle to which the correction angle has been added, an output pattern which includes a plurality of energization patterns and which is used when selecting an energization pattern, the output pattern being selected from a plurality of different output patterns.
