Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to make it possible, during driving of a stepping motor, to reduce power consumption while stabilizing a stop position during stop control. Accordingly, this motor control device is provided with: a deviation detection unit for detecting a deviation between a present position achieved by driving of a stepping motor and a target position with respect to the driving of the stepping motor; a drive signal output unit for outputting a drive signal for driving the stepping motor; and a drive signal setting unit which, during stop control of an object to be driven by the stepping motor, sets the drive signal from the drive signal output unit in accordance with the value of the deviation detected by the deviation detection unit. In this way, an applied voltage is reduced while maintaining a stop position during a stoppage.
