Abstract:
Provided is a motor control device including: a drive unit for supplying to a motor a drive voltage that rotates the motor in a predetermined direction and in a direction opposite to the predetermined direction; a voltage detection unit for detecting the voltage applied on a circuit including the drive unit; and a control unit for executing, on the drive unit, voltage-lowering control for lowering the voltage applied on the circuit by supplying the drive voltage to the motor and by terminating the supplying in a predetermined manner, if a voltage equal to or higher than a threshold voltage is detected by the voltage detection unit when the motor is not driven.
