Abstract:
[Problem] To avoid erroneous control by prompting a user to confirm the setting of control parameters in accordance with the type of a connected motor. [Solution] A motor control device (12) for controlling the driving of a motor (11) equipped with a position detector (14) has: a converter (21) for converting AC power output from an AC power supply (15) to DC power; an inverter (22) for converting the DC power output from the converter (21) to a supply power supplied to the motor (11); a power conversion control unit (31) for controlling the power conversion in the inverter (22) on the basis of commands from a higher-level controller and predetermined control parameters; a motor type determination unit (32) for determining the type of the motor (11) on the basis of a signal received from the position detector (14); and a notification control unit (35) for, in accordance with the type of the motor (11) determined by the motor type determination unit (32), providing notification pertaining to confirmation of the setting of the predetermined control parameters on the display unit of an external terminal (13).
