Abstract:
Provide is a motor control device capable of stabilizing the rotation of a motor even when an encoder pulse temporarily varies upward. This motor control device comprises a position signal counter (41); a periodic signal generation unit (42); and a speed determination unit (43) which determines a rotational speed of the motor calculated on the basis of a count number of the position signal counter (41) as the rotational speed of the motor when the count number is a predetermined value or more and which determines, as the rotational speed of the motor, a lower speed of the rotational speed of the motor determined on the basis of the position signal counter and a speed upper limit value when the counting has not been performed by the position signal counter (41). The speed determination unit (43) determines the speed upper limit value so that the rotational speed of the motor to be determined decreases in accordance with the number of times that a low-count period in which the counting has not been performed by the position signal counter (41) successively occurs during the predetermined period.
