Abstract:
A motor control device (1) according to the present invention is used for an automobile that includes a wheel driving motor (4), a wheel driving inverter (3), and a cooling fan (8) which is an auxiliary. The wheel driving inverter (3) drives the wheel driving motor (4) by PWM control at a main carrier frequency. The cooling fan (8) includes a fan motor (2) that is an auxiliary driving motor. The motor control device (1) includes an auxiliary driving inverter (20) and a frequency switching unit (14). The auxiliary driving inverter (20) drives the fan motor (2) by PWM control at a sub carrier frequency. The frequency switching unit (14) changes the frequency of the sub carrier frequency in accordance with the main carrier frequency.
