Abstract:
To provide a small-sized motor control device at a low cost by realizing miniaturization
of a heat sink used for the motor control device and reduction of the number of all
the parts of the device. The motor control device comprises a heat sink, power
semiconductor modules firmly fitted to the heat sink, a board (4) electrically
connected to the power semiconductor modules, and a fan (6) for producing the
flow of the outside air to apply cooling air onto the heat sink. The heat sink is
manufactured by combining two types of heat sinks comprising a first heat sink
(7) and a second heat sink (8) so as to be thermally conductive to each other, and
the power semiconductor modules are firmly fitted to the second heat sink (8).
