Abstract:
This motor control device is provided with: an inverter circuit that has a plurality of P-side switching elements and a plurality of N-side switching elements and that drives a motor via a plurality of motor terminals; a first dynamic brake that applies brakes to the motor by means of turning on all phases of the plurality of P-side switching elements or all phases of the plurality of N-side switching elements; a second dynamic brake that connects dynamic brake resistance between the motor terminals to apply brakes to the motor; and a control unit that, in accordance with motor speed, switches the dynamic brake that is to apply brakes to the motor between the first dynamic brake and the second dynamic brake.
