Abstract:
This motor control device includes: a table that stores motor torque generated from a motor using reluctance torque, for a combination of an armature current command value, and a current phase angle command value at which the motor torque becomes maximum in the armature current command value; a first setting unit that sets a motor torque command value which is a command value of the motor torque to be generated in the motor using reluctance torque; and a second setting unit that sets, on the basis of the table, an armature current command value and a current phase angle command value for generating, from the motor using reluctance torque, the motor torque corresponding to the motor torque command value set by the first setting unit.
