Abstract:
This motor control device comprises: a power conversion device that is connected in parallel to a first motor and a second motor, converts a DC voltage into an AC voltage, and supplies the AC voltage to the first motor and the second motor; a switching device that is provided between the second motor and the power conversion device; a current detector that detects a current flowing in the first motor and the second motor; and a controller that controls the power conversion device on the basis of at least a current value detected by the current detector. The controller has: a power control means for stopping an operation of the power conversion device when receiving, from the outside, an input of an abnormal stopping signal caused by the occurrence of abnormality, except for a normal stopping signal indicating a stopping instruction; and a switching control means for switching the switching device from an ON state to an OFF state when the operation of the power conversion device is stopped.
