Abstract:
This motor control device comprises a feedback system including a plurality of controllers to which feedback signals relating to operation of a motor are inputted, and the device executes, in a state where the motor is halted by a controller that is on the higher-order side than an electric current controller among the controllers in the feedback system, a first process for outputting, by the current controller, a voltage command for causing flow of a prescribed d-axis current, and a second process for, as a result of the first process, calculating the magnetic pole position of the motor on the basis of a correlation between a command value relating to a q-axis current generated by the current controller and the value of the prescribed d-axis current.
