Abstract:
In this system, an acceleration region (SU) and a deceleration region (SD) are provided between the operation start position and the operation end position of a wiper arm (1), and in the acceleration region/deceleration region, the target rotational speed is updated by calculating the addition amount / subtraction amount on the basis of the difference between the maximum rotational speed and the current rotational speed. The addition amount is set to be greater than the subtraction amount, and a constant velocity region (CV) is provided between the acceleration region (SU) and the deceleration region (SD). The length of the constant velocity region (CV) can be modified, and if the amount of change in the operation angle of the wiper arm (1) does not go beyond the constant velocity region (CV), the amount of change in the operation angle is subtracted from the constant velocity region (CV). Further, if the amount of change in the operation angle does go beyond the constant velocity region (CV), the target rotational speed is updated with the same amount of change in the acceleration region and the deceleration region, for example, by the subtraction amount in the deceleration region.
