Abstract:
A motor control method in which a voltage command value is calculated on the basis of a torque command value for a motor, a modulation factor is calculated on the basis of a power supply voltage and the voltage command value, a compensation gain for linearizing the relationship between the magnitude of the voltage command value and the magnitude of a fundamental wave component of an output voltage outputted to the motor is calculated on the basis of the modulation factor, a compensated voltage command value is calculated on the basis of the voltage command value and the compensation gain, and the output voltage outputted to the motor is controlled on the basis of the compensated voltage command value, wherein the compensation gain is restricted so as to be no higher than a prescribed upper limit.
