Abstract:
The present invention automatically sets an acceleration rate and a current setting vector during start-up, and thereby shortens a manual adjustment time of the acceleration rate and the current setting vector, and minimizes loss of power within a range that does not cause step-out. A motor controller of the present invention is provided with a step-out determination unit, an excess loss determination unit, a current-setting-vector setting unit, and a current control unit. The step-out determination unit calculates a step-out determination signal for determination of the presence/absence of step-out from a current vector received from an ammeter, and outputs the step-out determination signal to the current-setting-vector setting unit. The excess loss determination unit outputs an excess loss determination signal for making a determination, from the current command vector, that the power loss amount exceeds a predetermined threshold. The current-setting-vector setting unit sets a current setting vector for setting an initial current value during start-up of a motor and an acceleration rate which is a time increment of the initial current value on the basis of the step-out determination signal and the excess loss determination signal. The current control unit outputs the voltage command value to an inverter on the basis of the current setting vector.
