Abstract:
A motor control unit cooling device, comprising a heat sink (H) in contact with the module of a unit, continuous recessed parts formed in the heat sink, and a wall member (22) fixed to the heat sink by installing on the open surface side thereof and forming coolant flow passages (L) in the heat sink in association with the recessed parts of the heat sink, wherein the heat sink is fixed to the wall chamber (22) by fitting projections (20e) projected from the installation surface thereof on the wall member into holes (22a) in the wall member and caulking the projections, whereby fluid from the cavities in a thin-wall part at a bolt bottom part to a module contact surface as in a conventional bolting can be prevented from leaking.
