Abstract:
In a hybrid drive device provided with an engine, drive wheels, first and second motors, and a transmission mechanism, the reliability of sensorless vector control of one of the motors is improved, the time required for determining the initial state is reduced, and torque fluctuations are prevented.
A motor controller (30G) for sensorless vector-controlling a first motor (10G) is provided with a low-speed use calculator (44) and a high-speed use calculator (45) each for calculating the position angle, and a position angle calculator selector (46). The rotational speed (ωg) of the first motor is calculated by the position angle calculator selector on the basis of the rotational speeds (ωe, ωm) of an engine and a second motor (10M), and the numbers of gear teeth (Na to Nf) of the transmission mechanism. The position angle calculated by the low-speed use calculator (44) when the calculated rotational speed is less than or equal to a set value (ωT) or the position angle calculated by the high-speed use calculator (45) when the calculated rotational speed exceeds the set value is used as a position angle (θ) which is referred to in a 3-phase/2-axis conversion and a 2-axis/3-phase conversion for sensorless vector control.
