Abstract:
An inexpensive motor controller having high cooling performance obtained by
using an extrusion heat sink (1) and reducing the number of components and the
assembling man-hours. In the motor controller comprising the extrusion heat
sink (1), a power semiconductor module (4) equipped with a plurality of external
electrode terminals in close contact with the extrusion heat sink (1), and a substrate
connected with the plurality of external electrode terminals, diecast frames
(2) each having a seat (2a) for fixing the motor controller and a boss (2b) for fixing
the substrate formed by molding are provided at the opposite ends of the extrusion
heat sink (1).
