Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to accurately control a rotation stop position of a motor. A motor control device (100) is provided with a BEMF detection unit (118) and a CPU (101). The BEMF detection unit (118) detects a zero-crossing point of a back electromotive voltage of a motor coil provided in a motor. The CPU (101) drive-controls the motor using a one-phase excitation, position sensorless scheme, commutates the motor on the basis of the zero-crossing point of the back electromotive voltage detected by the BEMF detection unit (118), and drive-controls the motor by a rotation speed corresponding to a drive voltage and a load. When stopping the driving of the motor, the CPU (101) performs a step-by-step commutation time extension control from a calculated deceleration start step until the rotation speed decreases to a predetermined rotation speed or less at which the motor can be stopped at a desired position.
