Abstract:
This motor drive device performs stable current control even when an external disturbance occurs, while suppressing steadily occurring current ripples. The motor drive device 100 is provided with a power conversion circuit 103 for driving an AC motor 101 and a controller 102 for controlling the power conversion circuit 103. The controller 102 has a voltage command calculation unit 108, a control state determination unit 112, and a control gain change unit 113. The control gain change unit 113 immediately changes a control gain to a normal set value when a determination signal output from the control state determination unit 112 is switched from a determination signal representing a steady state to a determination signal representing a transient state, and changes the control gain to a high-gain set value with a predetermined delay time when the determination signal output from the control state determination unit 112 is switched from the determination signal representing the transient state to the determination signal representing the steady state.
