Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: an inverter (11) for outputting an AC voltage to a single-phase motor (12); a control unit (25) for controlling the AC voltage outputted by the inverter (11); and a current detection unit (22) for detecting a current flowing through the single-phase motor (12). The control unit (25) controls the speed of rotation of the single-phase motor (12) in accordance with a physical quantity calculated as the product of a sine wave in a phase in which the change in polarity of the AC voltage is the origin and the current detected by the current detection unit (22).
