Abstract:
A motor drive device (100) according to the present invention forms a totem-pole type circuit in which a high-side switch (19) and a low-side switch (21) are connected in series to a direct-current power supply (7). The motor drive device (100) includes a control unit (102) that transmits a high-side switch command signal for switching on/off the high-side switch (19) and a low-side switch command signal for switching on/off the low-side switch (21). A level shift circuit (13) is positioned between a third terminal (19c) and a high-side switch command signal output terminal (102a). When a low-side switch command signal for switching on the low-side switch (21) is transmitted from the low-side switch command signal output terminal (102b), the level shift circuit (13) transmits a level-shifted high-side switch command signal for switching off the high-side switch (19) to the third terminal (19c).
