Abstract:
This motor drive device 100 for a vehicle includes: a motor 1; an inverter 2 that supplies electric power to the motor 1; motor-side wires 3 for connecting the motor 1 and the inverter 2 to each other; a housing 5 which includes a motor chamber 51 and in which are formed through-holes 54 through which the motor-side wires 3 extending from the motor 1 housed in the motor chamber 51 pass; and elastically deformable cylindrical members 6 each including a wire insertion hole 63 into which each of the motor-side wires 3 extending from the motor 1 is inserted and each attached to the through-hole 54 to seal a gap between each of the through-holes 63 and each of the motor-side wires 3.
