Abstract:
A motor drive device is provided with a position detection unit (4) which detects the rotational position of a motor (1), a speed detection unit (5) which detects the rotational speed of the motor (1), a control unit (6) which, on the basis of a position command signal for the motor (1), the rotational position, and the rotational speed, generates a control signal for driving the motor (1), and a drive unit (7) which applies power to the motor (1) in accordance with the control signal. The control unit (6) changes the control signal in stages when the position command signal changes.
