Abstract:
A controller calculates a pulse width modulation signal of a two-phase modulation type. When the shortest pulse width of the calculated pulse width modulation signal is less than a set value, the controller corrects the calculated pulse width modulation signal to a pulse width modulation signal of a three-phase modulation type in which the shortest pulse width is the set value or more and the calculated pulse width modulation signal and an inter-phase voltage become equal to each other, and on/off-drives the switching elements of an inverter using the corrected pulse width modulation signal.
