Abstract:
A drive for driving a motor to open/close a window of a vehicle, for example. When the vehicle becomes under water in the sea, lake, or river, the drive prevents a leak current from flowing through a window opening/closing control switch and thereby a relay from malfunctioning to close the window. When submergence is detected and when it is detected that the motor erroneously rotates in such a direction as to close the window, a relay for rotating the motor forward is activated. This prevents the motor from rotating (especially in such a direction as to close the window) even though the control switch is not operated.
