Abstract:
For a specific motor-driven tool, batteries other than a dedicated battery, even those corresponding to the rated voltage of the motor-driven tool cannot be attached to the motor-driven tool. A tool body of the motor-driven tool is provided with a battery holder (28) and a battery (30) is provided with a fitting portion (36t) which can be fitted to the battery holder (28). When the battery holder (28) and the fitting portion (36t) are fitted to each other, the sliding movement of the battery (30) relative to the tool body in a specific direction establishes the connection therebetween. The tool body of the motor-driven tool is provided with a connection prevention portion (45) which prevents the connection of a battery other than the dedicated battery, even if the battery has a voltage corresponding to the rated voltage of the tool body.
