Abstract:
A motor-driven wheelchair in which motor-driven units are provided on both the left and right wheels (2), power is supplied to the motor-driven units (2) from a battery (46) which is provided on one wheel (2) side through wiring harnesses (electric wirings) (45) and (51) and a main switch (28). The main switch (28) and a switch lever (29) by which the main switch (28) is operated are incorporated at least in the motor-driven unit on the side where the battery (46) is provided. With this constitution, the wiring harness (45) by which the main switch (28) is connected to the motor-driven unit does not appear on a body frame (3) side, so that the number of electrical wirings and the number of components necessary for the wirings are minimized and simplification of the construction, improvement of the ease of the attachment/detachment of the wheel (2), etc. are realized.
